Category: About Sprint Fidelis Defibrillator Lead Lines

Manufacturers of medical devices, such as Medtronic, are responsible for issuing the proper safety warnings about defects associated with its various products.

Medical device defects can be somewhat common; however, not all defects warrant a product recall or safety announcement. Medical device makers only issue a recall when a defect is expected to put several patients at risk. For instance: when a product is found to have a significantly higher rate of failure than initially anticipated.

In October Medtronic announced a recall of Sprint Fidelis defibrillator wires after they were believed to have caused five deaths due to a fracture in the lead.

If you have suffered injury from a sprint fidelis defibrillator and need more information, please use the form located on the right to contact one of our personal injury lawyers for a free and confidential consultation.
