Medtronic Spine Agrees to Settle False Claims

Medtronic Spine has agreed to pay the federal government $75 million to settle allegations that it caused false submission claims to Medicare by a subsidiary.

Another Civil Lawsuit Filed Against Medtronic

Tom Kern went to his medical doctor for an irregular heartbeat. He had a Medtronic heart defibrillator surgically implanted in his chest and days later Medtronic issued a recall.

Kerns now wonders if the device in his chest that is supposed to help him, may be the very thing that kills him.
