Implantable Provider Group (IPG) continues to expand device offerings by partnering up with medical device leader Medtronic Neuromodulation.
Through the partnership, IPG will be able to provide its Implantable Device Management (IDM) service, allowing Medtronic customers access to a streamlined billing and reimbursement process while also eliminating their financial risk.
"Partnering with Medtronic is a tremendous opportunity for us," said Jay Ethridge, chief executive officer of IPG. "Medtronic commands a sizable portion of the implantable device market. Combining their market reach with our ability to simplify the complex processes associated with these devices will be highly beneficial to both companies and to Medtronic's customers."
Medtronic Neuromodulation includes spinal cord stimulators and implantable pumps and catheters for pain management.
IPG, founded in 2004, focuses on large, fast growth device markets, such as cardiology, nureology and orthopedic implants.
