Operating a moving vehicle during a diabetic blood sugar crash can be dangerous for both the drive and others on the road. With the help of Medtronic's new concept, maybe that won't be the case.

Medtronic has revealed the M-Powered concept car, which is equipped with a dashboard that would allow diabetic patients that wear continuous glucose monitors to receive blood-sugar readings.

The vehicle was presented at the American Diabetes Association's annual meeting, and is expected to help alert medical assistance should the drivers' readings fall out of normal range and the driver fail to respond to on-road computer prompts, according to the company.
